YOGA TRADITION

Ashtanga Yoga School develops deep consciousness through the teachings of Ashtanga Yoga and Advaita Vedanta. All masters are certified teachers.

Ashtanga Yoga is transmitted in its original form as well as in the Patanjali's Yoga Sutra. The Vinyasa method is based on the Mysore Yoga tradition developed by T.Krishnamacharya and K.Pattabhi Jois.

Advaita Vedanta is the philosophy of Oneness that synthetizes the teachings of the Upanishads. It is designed to guide you through the path of self-realization. Jnana Yoga is its path of knowledge.

THE PRACTICE

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a psychophysical technique aimed at learning self-knowledge through concentration on the dynamic synchronization between breath and movement. The method is based on three sequences: the First Series [Yoga Chikitsa] detoxifies and strengthens the body. The Second Series [Nadi Shodana] purifies the nervous system. The advanced series [Sthira Bhaga] integrates strength, stability and grace.

Jnana Yoga is the way to self-realization. By Listening [Manana], Contemplation [Sravana], and deep integration in Meditation [Nididhyasana], it develops the inner research that leads you to the cognitive intuition and direct experience of the Self.




THE PRACTICE

AHIMSA is the course to develop self-benevolence and quietness through static postures, deep breathing and high concentration.

PRANAYAMA is the course to learn the control of the breath in order to steady the mind, improve oxygen saturation, increase heart rate variability, re-balancing the nervous system and expand the life energy.


ADVAITA VEDANTA JNANA YOGA

MEDITATION is the course that offers you a self-inquiry practice to remove the veils of illusion created by the ego. The mind is directed to explore its nature and find its real essence.
